Medical kits or treatment kits, often shortened to medkits, are containers prefilled with Template:Term, pills, auto-injectors, filled syringes, and other items to treat specific damage types, as specified by their name. There are currently eight medical kits in Space Station 14:
- first aid kit
- burn treatment kit
- toxin treatment kit
- oxygen deprivation treatment kit
- brute trauma treatment kit
- advanced first aid kit
- radiation treatment kit
- combat medical kit
All medical kits have a storage space of 2x4 and take up 2x4 slots when placed into a container, with the exception of the Combat Medical Kit, which takes up a 2x2 space while having the same internal storage as the rest. As most medkits take up the same space in a bag than they hold, it is recommended to remove the contents for easier access. All medkits can be created using the medical techfab for plastic, but these are created empty.
