Ointment is a basic Template:Term that heals Template:Heat, Template:Shock, Template:Cold and Template:Caustic damage upon use. It can commonly be found in Medvend machines, Burn Medical Kit, medical supply lockers, and as standard issue in Medical belts.
As with all topicals it can be used to heal damage on dead crew members. As chemicals are more effective at treating Template:Burn damage, it is heavily recommended that medical staff utilize these only on dead crew members.
