As a member of the Nanotrasen Death Squad, your job is to clean up the mess that has been left by crew members aboard the station, this includes the crew members. You’re only called to the station during Epsilon Alert Level, if Central Command has deemed the station unsalvageable and lost control of the crew. You are, of course, packing the best weapons and armor CentComm has, but remember that a stun baton and a pair of cuffs are extremely dangerous adversaries.

Keep in mind that Death Squads are rare admemes. Even if you manage to grab the ghost role, you are likely to just wait at CC if the threat is coming on the Evac Shuttle.

Please do not spam for the admins to send one. The Death Squad's purpose is to act as a tool for admins to give out an in character punishment for something horrid that has occurred on station, or as a treat if they are feeling a little silly :3c, their arrival is infrequent for a reason, and often happens as a precursor to role or perma bans.

As a death squad member, your goal is not to get the station operational, otherwise an emergency response team would be sent. You are a Death squad sent to dispense death.

Preparation and equipment

After spawning, make sure to check your backpack and take your pulse rifle if you've spawned with one. It has a MASSIVE internal battery of 400 shots and does lots of damage, surpassing all other weapons in the game.

You will also have deathsquad hard suits, which provide somewhere between 80% to 90% resistance to all major damage types in the game while not slowing you down. Additionally you'll have advanced magboots, which provide magboot effects without slowing you down, flash resistant gas-masks, shock proof combat gloves, death acidifiers, freedom implanters, spanish army knives and other useful goodies which make your relatively low numbers when compared to the crew manageable. Make sure to implant your implanters before departing and to familiarize yourself with your high-level equipment.

In the unlikely event one of you goes down, all operatives have medical chest rigs filled with bottles of epinephrine and omnizine.

Your centcomm headset will provide intel on all station communications, giving you ample intel ahead of time. You'll also have access to the centcom channel, which allows you to covertly communicate and coordinate with your peers. If need be, here you can also ask for your objectives and priority targets, if you've not been briefed.

Keep in mind that your security hud will show you roles and ID, if that is relevant for your objective.

Objectives

Most often you are called due to actions of a specific department, or terrible handling of a situation by a select few heads. Although the reason for DS calls are varied, those responsible for you being called should be your priority, this may sometimes require a full crew extermination.

A non-exhaustive list of common Death Squad objectives is:

  • If it ain't a head, it's dead
  • Activate the nuke
  • Kill everyone, but the captain
  • Kill everyone

And so on.Template:Role Navbox
