Knives are a type of Tool that can be used for Slicing, Execution, and Butchering for certain knives.

Note that, while Glass Shards are not considered Knives, and cannot be used for most Knife-related actions, they can still be used to rip up clothing into cloth. This makes it so that you can craft a shiv without needing any specialized tools.
