Proto-Kinetic Accelerator (PKA for short) is ranged weapon that deals Template:Blunt and Template:Structural damage. It is mainly used by Salvage for mining or breaking structures and killing space fauna, such as Space Carp.

Modifications

Modifications (mods for short) allow for upgrades to PKA's damage, fire rate or range.

Only two unique upgrades can be installed at the same time, such as damage and fire rate, but not damage and damage.

• PKA modkit (damage) improves damage by Template:Blunt and Template:Structural, to Template:Blunt and Template:Structural.
• PKA modkit (range) improves range by 2.75 tiles (by speeding up the projectile 1.5 times), to 8.25 tiles.
• PKA modkit (fire rate) improves fire rate by 1.5 times, to 0.75 shots/sec.
